Marco Daniele is an Italian master pizza chef originally from Naples, the birthplace of pizza and where he began his training in the art of pizzamaking at a young age. His passion for pizza was born in his teens, when he embarked on a professional journey marked by the constant study of doughs, fermentation processes, and a deep respect for Italian pizza tradition, combined with a modern and technical approach.
After years of experience and refinement, Marco Daniele settled in Tenerife, where he developed much of his professional career and became a renowned figure in the industry. On the island, he solidified his own style, based on the use of high-quality ingredients, long fermentation times, and a light, digestible, and balanced pizza, true to the essence of Italian pizza.
He is the owner and head chef of La Salumería, an artisanal pizzeria located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a project that reflects his professional identity. In this establishment, Marco is committed to excellence, meticulous attention to product, and innovation, creating pizzas and specialties like pizza en pala (pizza by the slice) with a contemporary approach while remaining true to traditional roots.
